The MTG has a large presence at the 6th Sound and Music Computing Conference and the SMC Summer School that are taking place in Porto from the 18th to the 25th of July 2009. People attending include: Bram de Jong, Xavier Serra, Vincent Akkermans, Jordi Janer, Justin Salamon, Martin Haro, Emilia Gomez, Ariadna Alsina, Graham Coleman, and Hendrik Purwins. At the Summer School, Emilia is one of the coordinators, Xavier is teaching, and Bram is one of the tutors. At the conference Ariadna and Graham are playing with the Esmuc Laptop Orchestra, and there will be oral and poster presentations of the following research papers:
