Seminar by Jean Mary Zarate on auditory processing

16.06.2011

On Thursday June 16th 20100 at 3:30pm in room 52.321, Jean Mary Zarate from New York University gives a seminar on "Musical tasks: testing the brain's dorsal auditory stream".

Abstract:Although the neural networks involved in auditory processing have been identified, the functional role of one particular network has been debated over the past 10 years. Several models have been proposed and I will present neuroimaging research in which musical tasks have helped inform this debate.
