| Abstract | This paper describes the reacTable*, a novel electroacoustic music instrument with a tabletop tangible user interface, which has been developed at the MTG in Barcelona. This instrument aims to be collaborative or multiuser, intuitive, learnable and masterable, and suitable for both complete novices and advanced erformers. We first introduce the reacTable* project and some of the concepts behind its design and we then discuss its architecture and all of its components one by one. |
