Hi there,

Welcome to my web-corner created during my association with Music Technology Group, UPF, Barcelona.

I have been a student of the Master's programme in Sound & Music Computing at the UPF during 2009-10, organized primarily by the MTG. During my stay at MTG, I finished my Master's Thesis on "Analysis & Classification of Ornaments in North Indian Classical Music" under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Hendrik Purwins.

I was also associated with the Music 3.0 project of the MTG, now known as Canoris API. I was an intern responsible to write python classes for assimilating the Music Similarity tools of the MTG with the overall framework of the project.

Apart from the thesis and internship, I also worked closely with Dr. Xavier Serra on a project to classify the academic publications of Sound & Music Computing Conference under different dub-domains spanned by the domain of Music Technology.And under his supervision, I was also responsible for managing this website and Portal of the SMC Community.

Before joining UPF, I was taught Information Technology at National Institute of Technology Raipur, India.

My research areas include "North Indian Classical Music". "Music Information Retrieval", "Style and Influence abalysis based on musical instruments", "Music Technology and the Web", "Application & API development for Computer Music".
