Jose R. Zapata
I Have a bachelor degree in Electronic Engineer (2003) and a Master Degree in Telecommunications From Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (Medellin, Colombia) Currently I am a PhD candidate in Sound and Music Computing (Universitat Pompeu Fabra)and joined Music Technology Group in Barcelona in 2009 under the supervision of Xavier Serra and Emilia Gómez.My research interests include Beat Tracking and Audio Tempo estimation. My main field of interest is Music Information Retrieval (MIR), with a focus on audio and music processing.
